Give and you will be rewarded

Give and you will be rewarded a hundred fold. This proverb never fails me. I always believe that when you give, you get to receive more than what you give.

I just remember that it’s the first week of the month again. It’s time for me to give. Yes, I do sponsor a child to go to school and study through the World Vision. This program has taught me about the meaning of “Social Responsibility.”

We, who are blessed to be in the upper half of the social class has the responsibilty to provide something, in any way, to those who are in the lower strata. Providing a small amount monthly for a child’s education, might look like very small for us, but, in fact a very big help for them.

I also encourage all of you, who have more than enough, to give something to our brothers and sisters in need. A 450 pesos donation in not really that big. Right? But that 450 pesos can send a child to school and help his/her family improve its way of life.
