Kabuganaan sang Western Viasayas

Kabuganaan sang Western Viasayas

Wow Philippines is currently featuring the best of the Western Visayas, dubbed as “Kabugaan sang Western Visayas.”

This has been an oppurtunity for WV provinces to showcase their foods, festivals, and products. I was able to witness Guimaras’ Manggahan Festival presentation last Saturday. See photos below:

Havaianas vs Spartan

Havaianas vs Spartan

The Great Sinless Sin

The Great Sinless Sin

Just as when most of us are fighting against the increase of out taxes, and jeepney fare, one of our country’s brave fighter, finally ended his battle.

Jaime Cardinal Sin, passed away just this morning in Cardinal Santos Hospital. As we all remember him, he is one of the key figures during the EDSA 1 and 2 Revolution.

He is one of the leading personalities in our country who bravely fought for our freedom. Cardinal Sin is of the brave souls who have been telling us that we should always be vigilant. We should keep watch of the people we have placed in government.

May you rest in peace, Cardinal. Your legacy will always be remembered by the Filipino people.

Binondo Food Tour

Binondo Food Tour -

I was in Binondo last Saturday, enjoying the beauty of this Little China. Learning its history, and how they the Chinese people became the keepers of this place. I also marvelled at thew beauty of the churches that we visited. I also got a taste of authentic Chinese dumplings, and other Chinese foods you won’t see anywhere. Surely, I didn’t eat Chowking foods there. =)
