Kadaugan sa Mactan

The Kadaugan sa Mactan is a festival commemorating the historic battle of Mactan between Ferdinand Magellan and Mactan chieftain Lapu-Lapu. This festival is held every April 27.

    Thanks so much for your blog and FABULOUS photos. I’m a Fil-Am writer working on a historical fiction novel. My family and I will be in Cebu for the Kadaugan. Do you have any tips for the best viewing spots? Or people to talk to? Do you have any favorite books on Lapu-lapu or Humabon?
