Dinagyang Festival

Dinagyang Festival

I’m back home. Dinagyang Festival was really beautiful. Truly, a must-see festival of the Philippines.

In this year’s edition, 20 tribes participated in the Ati-ati contest. The competition started at 8 in the morning until past 1 in the afternoon. Good thing, there’s no rain. But the scorching heat of the sun is quite unbearable. I have to pour some cold water on the arms just to minimize prick of the sun. Mahapdi talaga ang init. Sobra.

Post ko mamaya mga photos ko.

Dinagyang Festival

I’m currently here in Iloilo City doing a Dinagyang Festival photoshoot. This year’s festival was great! the costumes were all beautiful. the tribes were all equally fantastic. I will be returning to Maniloa tomorrow and post my photos immediately.

This year’s festival has also been very special to me. I was able to meet some long lost friends. I also got to meet some of my friends from Bacolod who also came to see the event.

ciao for now… I still have to attend the awarding rites tonight

Feelin’ Bitchy

Feelin’ Bitchy

I’ve been very very bitchy in the office these past few days. EVEN DURING MY BIRTHDAY! I feel being pressured on my work lately.

I know a lot of people still can’t understand why I’ve been feeling this way. I am not happy with my job anymore. I know working in a call center gives you a nice pay and other perks. But I am not happy anymore. There’s no room for artists and creative people in a call center.

It has been my dream to become a photographer. I know it doesn’t pay good. But I’m happy being a photographer.

I felt the adrenaline rush when I had my first Anti-GMA rally photoshoot along Ayala. I had a one of kind excitement when I travel to shoot the festivals. And i always feel good when people recognizes my photo.

I don’t know what to do next. Comments will be very much appreciated. Salamat po.
