Everything Bad News

Today’s not my day. Really. I’ve been swamped with negative news this early morning. First, I got my quarterly statement today from Cebu Pacific Summit Club. I quickly opened my envelope just informing me that the Summit Club program will be stopped until March 31. WHAT????????????????? What about my 4 reamining flights this year!!!! Nada. Zilch Zero Wala. The miles will just go to down the drain. As what some people say, ilista mo na lang miles mo sa tubig!

When I called up their office today to get my free flight, andami pang drama! they won’t accumulate all the iles that I got. Hanggang 1,500 miles lang daw tapos bayad pa ako ng 1,000 pesos plus taxes? HAAA??? Eh di bibili na alng ako ng tag 888pesos. Di ba mas mura? Anyways, di naman ma cre-credit miles ko kasi wala ng Summit Club.

Sayang lang yung mga natira kong miles. That’s more than 3,000 miles pa sana. enough for a one-way airfare.

Another bad news. I really really hate them now for what they did. I contacted the Department of Tourism if they have an advance schedule of the Wow Philippines: The Best of the Regions this year. This is the reply that I got. Very Short, and direct to the point: “Sorry we have no Best of the Regions this year” Wow. Why was this scrapped? Do they know that the the regions, provinces and cities have lost another venue for them to showcase their products, their foods, their festivals, and their unique cultures?

Its very disappointing. Maybe the DOT has other priorities aside from these. Sana naisip man lang nila na hindi lahat ng tao nakakabyahe para lang makapunta sa mga magagandang lugar at ma experience ang kanilang mga piyesta at kanilang kulutra. That was the essence of the Best of the Regions. Baka nakalimutan lang nila…
