Aliwan Fiesta 2006

The country’s grandest festival showdown is set to take center stage next month along Roxas Boulevard, in the Grand Old City of Manila. The highlights of the festival will be on April 29, where various festivals, floats, and festival queens will parade from Quirino Grandstand down to Aliw theater adjacent to the Star City theme park.

As of this writing, there are already 28 festivals who have confirmed there attendance. These are:

The Grand Festival winner will be taking home the 1 Million-Peso cash prize. First runner-up will receive P500,000 and third runner-up, P250,000. The top 10 finalists will each get P10,000.

I was at the Black Friday Movement’s weekly protest yesterday. Yesterday, the group painted the Rizal Park (Luneta) in black. There were a lots of us who trooped to the country’s kilometer zero zone. Several personalities from the group HYATT 10 were there. Former DSWD Secy. Dinky Soliman was there, together with former DepEd Secy. Butch Abad. The Black Friday Movement is organized by Vicente “Enteng” Romano. The same group that were arrested by the Manila Police last walk for “strolling at the park”

‘Tis the most wonderful time of the year…

sounds like Christmas season is fast approaching? No..there are a lot of reasons why i’m on the cloud nine today.

1. My office has already released the check i will be using to pay for my photography workshop. The amount? hahaha almost double than what i requested! So i was able to buy a book and a CD just this afternoon.

2. I have been chatting with my younger bro i got to know in the blogosphere this afternoon. Had to tell him some very important matters, only the two of us know.

3. I got a restday on Holy Thursday and Good Friday!!! This means that i can do photoshoot in Pampanga Holy Week. I wont disclose my photoshoot plans yet…

4. Though I didn’t have enough sleep today, I still feel like i slept for 12-long hours!

5. I might finish a photoshoot series tomorrow!!! God bless me on this… =)
