List of banned items for air travelers bared

Airport security officials recently released a list of items that are deemed to dangerous to be carried inside the aircraft. The list contains the “usual suspects” like disposable lighters, guns, amunitions, knives. And it also included items like,, ummm  soy sauce, bagoong, and fish sauce. Other items who made it to the list are golf balls, fishing rods, billiard sticks, adhesive tapes, and safety pins.

I don’t know but I also had trouble with airport security before regarding my camera tripod. I’ve tried it at NAIA, as well as at the Domestic airport, they all said the camera tripods are quite dangerous to be carried inside the cabin. Duh.. So I always have it checked in everytime I travel. That’s what you call inconvenience, for gooddamn security’s sake.

I also encountered a guy at the Bacolod Airport, his backpack contained the brown packing tape. Probably to seal his carton after checking at the airport. The security officers forced him to move the tapes to his checked-in bags.

Blame all these inconveniences to the 9/11 incident. Tsk Tsk.

Oh by the way… I have not yet started talking about the Airline Security Fees here. tsk tsk tsk…
