I have been receiving a lot of e-mail, and text messages asking me about the aliwan Fiesta. So to avoid answering all e-mails with similar inquiries, I have decided to post an FAQ (frequently asked questions) here:

the third placer in the SINULOG 2006 free interpretation category will join the ALIWAN 2006 competition. Watch out for the elaborate and intricate costumes and props!!!!! also for the music. Watch out also for the former two time champion of SINULOG the LUMAD BASAKANON of Basak-San NIcolas, Cebu CIty who are good in their last outing in the Sinulog but disqualified for some technical rulings…..Tonz of ILigan City, Mindanao
guys i was a member of a streetdancing group before and we befriended alot of dancers and choreographers from Mindanao and Visayas, until now i still follow many streetdancing festivals to watch even if married na ako. and we really knw who’s the best in the country jst by watching the dance and the props and the choreography, we can see the top 5 already with a minute discrepancy on our projections. I guess this time the Visayas-Mindanao contingents will rule out the others in the ALIWAN 2006….AGAIN.
tonz of Iligan City, Mindanao
tan awon tana lang na bwaz ah.good luck 2 ol!
BANAT MAASINANON HALA BIRA
Sinu ang nanalo sa Aliwan ngayung 2006?
sayang di kami nakasali… anyway see you guys na lang sa matawi festival this coming april 7 at mandaue, cebu….
For your information Tonz hindi 3rd placer yong LUMAD BASAKANON
they are Sinulog 2004-05 grand champion pero sa Sinulog 2006 hindi sila naka sali sa top 5 dahil sa technicalities or -20 dedaction dahil sa wheels sa props pero sa judges sila parin yong Champion, pero halos hinakot pa rin nila yong mga special awards…
congrats Sinulog Festival the LUMAD BASAKANON for having the CHAMPION of the ALIWAN festival… ^_^
lumad basakanon did not win last sinulog 2006 due to technicalities…… technicality pa rin ba yon kung pinagbigyan ang mga political friends ng aming mga officials???????
me majic talaga sa politics… tsk tsk tsk.
