Cristo Redentor

Cristo Redentor: a sculpture that has become one of Brazil’s most beloved icon. A huge structure of Christ with an outstreched arms that appears to welcome every visitor to this football-crazy nation.

With its towering height, it seems that it can see everything in its front.

But wait, do you know that there is a structure here in the Philippines that is somewhat similar to Brazil’s Cristo Redentor?

Tagaytay on a bright sunny day

I was in Tagaytay City, Cavite recently doing nothing but enjoy the cool breeze of the place. Because of its cool climate, Tagaytay has earned the monicker The Second Summer Capital of the Philippines. Second only to the City of Pines.

Tagaytay is a quick refuge for those living in the urban jungle of Manila. Away from the pollution and its humid conditions. Please keep coming back and check out some of my finds at Tagaytay City.
