BYAHILO RECCOMENDS…
Posted on May 26, 2006
For the first time, I’m doing this.. yes friends.
BYAHILO RECOMMENDS: OLD MANILA WALKS
He calls himself “Manila’s streetwalker”. Ivan ManDy’s Old manila Walks opened my windows to the Filipino-Chinese World.
I first discovered this tour last year, while i was browsing the Internet for some Manila walking tours. I immediately signed up for his “Big Binodo Food Wok: Nibbling our way through Chinatown”

Chinatown, this way please
The Binondo Food Wok tour is a good way to binge on authentic Chinese foodies while enriching your mind with various hostorical facts. We had at least 5 (yeah thats FIVE!!!) food stops.
Get to taste authentic dumplings, noodles, spring rolls, and other Chinese foods!
Visit the church were the first Filipino saint served as an acolyte or sacristan, get to see how the Old Manila defined the term SKYSCRAPER, discover why Binondo became the Chinatown of Manila, and visit the old Central Business District of Manila: the Rockwell and Ayala of the olden times.
All these and more at the Old Manila Walks. For tour schedules, please go to the Old Manila Walks website
