Final call before the rain comes

I took this was before the summer season finally bid goodbye. The weather’s perfect. A big golden sun shining up above, reflecting of the aquamarine waters. While I was just sitted on the white sand beach. Perfect, isn’t it?

The location was in the quiet town of San Juan, Batangas. A three to four hour drive south of Metro Manila. Batangas is one of few provinces in Luzon blessed with white sand beaches. That’s why every weekend beaches along this area are often filled to the brim.

Flores de Mayo

During the month of May, there are two things that usually come to my mind first: The oncoming rainy season or Habagat, and the Flores de Mayo.

Definitely May has been a month of flowers. And until now, I still can’t get enough of them! Hehehe.

The photo below was taken from Blue Coral Beach Resort in San Juan, Batangas. I really do not know the name of the flower, but it has just caught my attention with its bright yellow orange tint.
