Independence Day Parade Pics

June 12, 2006, I found myself waking up at very early in the morning. I was not supposed to go to the June 12 parade. I have already informed Julz, that I won’t be there anymore when they perform at the Quirino.

But I really do not know, by twist of fate, I just pushed myself to get a cold shower, and go to Luneta. By 7AM I was already there. I went to the venue without any breakfast or coffee, or bagel or pandesal. My stomach was grumbling, but it’s ok.

Security was tight, obviously. Madam La Presidenta GMA was there. Several Cabinet officials were there.

It took me around 3 or 4 body checks before I was able to get inside the parade ground. The heat was unbearable.

Despite all the heat, the inconveniences at every checkpoints, and the hunger, I still went to the Independence day parade because I have made a promise to a friend that I’ll be doing this Independence Day parade shoot.
