InnSison Apartelle: Baguio’s New Kid on the Block

Posted on August 5, 2006

While I was preparing for my Baguio trip, looking for a decent accomodation was a big challenge for me. Well, I am not really looking for a plush hotel accomodation with wall-to-wall carpet. I was simply looking for a safe place where I can spend a night in the City of Pines.

So I scoured the Virtual Tourist, an online forum of fellow travellers. I asked them where can stay. And they all refer me to InnSison Apartelle.

Innsison Apartelle is one of Baguio’s new kid on the block. For first timers in Baguio, you won’t have any difficulty in finding the place. It’s located at the corner of Dominican Hill and Naguillian Road. Never miss the bright yellow color of its building.

The price is cheap. It’s even cheaper compared to what I have paid for in Laoag. They have dorm-type room at 350 pesos-a-night or you can also get a large room perfect for barkada outings.

Don’t ask for any airconditioning. You won’t need it anyway. Security has never been a problem. There is always a guard detailed at the Apartelle. The staff is very warm and friendly. There are also enough parking slots for those who bring their cars. And where else can you find an aparetelle with FREE INTERNET ACCESS? For a heavy Internet users, this is a big bonus!

Transportation will also be a no problemo. All jeepneys marked “Dominican Hill” passes right in front of the Apartelle. Going to the city proper is a breeze, too. InnSison Apartelle is a 5-minute walk away from of of Baguio’s beloved landmarks: The Lourdes Grotto. On the topmost floor of the Apartelle, one can get a sweeping view of Baguio City. Visible from the Apartelle are the City Hall, Baguio City Cathedral, Burnham Park, and the Lourdes Grotto.

So when visiting Baguio, try the newest Apartelle to hit the city. When looking for clean, and cheap rooms go to InnSison Apartelle. Check out their website at http://www.innsison.com

Wow, lalo ako naimpress about InnSison Hotel, but sad to say that they will not be accepting guests & visitors this coming December 2006 & December 2007 coz’ a friend of the Hotel’s owner rented the entire hotel for the the whole month. Sayang kasi we’re looking for a room accomodation for our honeymoon this coming December. Anyway, mga friends baka meron kayo advise sa akin na place sa Baguio where we can stay during our honeymoon on December 24 to 29. Pero yung hindi naman masyado expensive for us. My “wife to be” just want to see Baguio coz she’ve never been to Baguio before, di katulad ko na ilang beses na nakapunta dun pero para mag attend ng Preacher’s Conference in High Acres Camp, Calot Sablan. I will be waiting for your referrals! Thanks!
