Next Festival Pitstop: Bacolod Masskara Festival

Posted on September 4, 2006

This coming October 18, I will be travelling once again to the City of Smiles, Bacolod City for the upcoming Masskara Festival.

This early, the Masskara Foundation is already very busy preparing the fiesta, ensuring that this year’s Masskara Festival will be the grandest.

Last September 1, the foundation has already released the offical music of this years streetdance competition. And to live up to this year’s theme of Masks of the World, this years music incorporates the beat from the seven continents of the world.

As of this writing, one foreign, and two out of town groups have already signed up for the open category.

Check out the latest Masskara updates at: the Bacolod Masskara Website

Meanwhile, enjoy the video slideshow I created from the photos I took during the last year’s edition.
