Prudential Building

One of the most beautifully designed building in Manila is the Prudential Bank Building in Santa Cruz district. Located just a few steps away from the Santa Cruz church and the LRT Carriedo Station.This edifice is no longer holding banking transactions. It has recently been converted into a supermarket. Buildings as grand as this should be protected and should never be torn down without the permission from the Natoinal Historical Institute.

I love this buildting, too.

I was in the area last Saturday; thought the monument was MacArthur’s. It was Lacson. Talk about idealized images … hehehe.
