Another round of Binondo Gastronomie

Posted on October 3, 2006

On the night before manang Yasmin went home to Bacolod, we decided to go to Ongpin Street. The legendary stretch in Binondo, Manila known as the Chinatown of the Philippines.

It was also the first time for my sis, Ging and her boyfriend Arthur to be there. And for an exciting dinner, I brought them to the Estero Eatery. It’s a row of eateries located beside the creek or canal, thus it was called estero.

For our dinner we had a hearty sotanghon soup, perfect for the rainy weather. We also had crispy pork in salt and pepper, and fish fillet. We finished our dinner with a warm cup of tea.
