Masskara Festival…here I come!!!

Finally, it’s confirmed. At long last. After all the sleepless nights and all the anxiety that i had these past few weeks… My vacation leave for the 27th Bacolod City Masskara Festival has already been approved!
I almost screamed and jumped for joy here at the office, shortly before midnight when my vacation leave for the Masskara Festival, which has been filed last February, has finally been approved. Oh yeah, thank heavens. I can finally savor that delicious chicken inasal at the Manukan Country, grilled blue marlin in Aboy’s Kamalig, the sinful yet superbly delicious cheesecakes of Calea, and talaba (oysters) from the town of Hinigaran, Negros Occidental.
Of course, I will also be going to the charming city of Silay, north of Bacolod City, Philppines. Known as the Paris of Negros and the Vigan of the South. Here are just a draft of my itinerary. If you wish to meetup, please send me an e-mail in advance.
October 18- Arrival in Bacolod, from Manila, Philippines
Join the Countdown to Charter street party. I Might be at the Bacolod City Hall stage
October 19- Pick up my friends at the Airport, arriving via Cebu Pacific airlines

Dinner with friends

I might be going to Victorias Milling Company, and check out the Chapel of the Angry Christ
