11th University Games

The University of St. La Salle - Bacolod (USLS) will be playing host to the 11th University Games or simply called the UniGames. This sporting spectacle will be held in Bacolod City, Philippines on Oct23-29, 2006.
As of this writing, 28 colleges and universities from allover Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao have already confirmed their participation in this annual sporstfest. These are the Far Eastern University, Ateneo de Manila University, Colegio De La Purisima Concepcion, Filamer Christian College, Holy Name University, De La Salle University-Lipa, Xavier University and College of St. John.
Also joining this year’s Unigames are the University of San Agustin-Iloilo, San Beda College, West Negros College, Holy Angel University, St. Francis of Assisi College, La Carlota City College, Mindanao State University, Adamson University, Jose Rizal University, Riverside College, DLSU-Dasmariñas and Northern Negros State College of Science and Technology.
Holy Cross of Davao College, University of the Cordilleras, University of Iloilo, Assumption College, Negros Oriental State University, Silliman University, University of Mindanao and University of Northern Philippines will also be seeing action in this event.
The Unigames is a sports program initiated in 1996 by then USLS President and Commission on Higher Education (CHED) President Bro. Rolando “Rolly” Dizon, FSC.
