Libingan ng mga Bayani

Posted on November 1, 2006

Last week, Glen and I went to Libingan ng mga Bayani. The Libingan has been the final resting place of the Philippine’s heroes as well as soldiers who served under the Philippine Flag. White crosses mark the spot where these galant heroes were interred.

The place is so serene (except for the airplanes taking off from time to time). This hallowed ground is a haven for joggers circling the park. There are also a lot of people strolling around the area. Libingan ng mga Bayani is located on the eastern side of Makati, just afew meters away from the American Cemetery.
