Arroyo Fountain

One of the symbols of Iloilo is the Arroyo Fountain. This waterfountain also serves as the Kilometer Zero for the island of Panay. The Arroyo Fountain was built in honor of the late Ilonggo Senator Jose Maria Arroyo, grandfather of First Gentleman Mike Arroyo.

Golden Carabao

One of the symbols of Negros Occidental is the the carabao sculpture being pulled by a man. This gold-painted sculpture is mounted on the sounthern end of the Provincial Capitol Lagoon. Another carabao sculpture, being pulled by a woman, guards the northern section of the lagoon.
