In just a few hours I will now be flying to the beautiful city of Zamboanga! Weee!!! iHola Zamboanga Hermosa!
Part of my itinerary includes the visit the the Taluksangay Mosque, Fort Pilar, Rio Hondo and the Yakan Weaving Community.
Aside from Zamboanga, I will also be going to the province of Basilan, and explore the beauty of the white sand beaches of the Malamawi Island.
For the uninitiated, Malamwi Island is the birthplace of Abu Sabaya. One of the well-known members of the group Abu Sayaff.
This trip is a realization of my dreams: This is going to the first time I’ll set foot in Mindanao.

It’s nice to explore our own place. I was in Cotabato this MAy 2006 during my Wedding. Not much good in there but I felt good that I was able to visit mindanao.
