Badjao: The guardians of the Seas

The Badjao are the sea-faring people of Mindanao. they are commongly found on the shores of Zamboanga, ang Basilan. Their houses are standing on stilts over the water. Their main sour of livelihood is fishing, while women weave sleeping mats, popularly known as banig.
