Zamboanga City Port

One of the major ports of the Philippines is the Zamboanga City Port. This port services ships from Cebu, Manila, Basilan, Iloilo, Jolo, Bonggao and even Sandakan, Malaysia.
Zamboanga port is also very important in the econmic activities of the city. The city, also known as the Sardines Capital of the Philippines, unloads tons of fishes caught from the Zamboanga Peninsula. Much of these catch are then canned and sold in Metro Manila, while some are exported to other countries.
