14th Travel Tour Expo

The Philippines’ biggest travel expo is set to open this coming February 9-11, 2007 at the Megatrade Hall of Megamall, Ortigas Center.
Expect a number of travel agencies as well as foreign and domestic airlines offering extremely low rates for tour packages as well as for airline tickets. From the Travel Tour Expo press release:
This year’s edition of the expo dubbed “Gateway to Your Dream Vacation” is expected to draw nearly 100,000 visitors who will be looking to find attractive tour packages, travel discounts, and souvenir items from the biggest travel agencies, cruise operators, airlines, hotels, resorts, and shops operating in the country.
The fair is open for public for a very minimal fee. This year’s fair will feature 41 travel agencies; 45 hotels, resorts, and tour operators; 19 travel shops; 17 international airlines; and 5 cruise operators.
Several Asian countries including China, Hong Kong, India, Macau, Malaysia, Marianas Islands, Sabah, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand together with Egypt, Guam, Israel and South Africa will also have their respective tourism offices present at the expo as they target the traveling Filipinos who are looking for affordable travel packages abroad.
