The photo above shows the dome of San Diego Parish in Silay City. This parish holds the distinction as the only recognized Pro-Cathedral outside of Manila. Merriam Webster defines Pro-Cathedral as a parish being used as a Cathedral.

Colon Street in Cebu City hold the distinction as the country’s oldest street. It is also known as Cebu’s Chinatown. That is the reason why Chinese lanterns and red buntings were hanging over the street. these were placed during the 12TH ASEAN Summit until the Sunilog Festival.

Photo taken at noontime during the Cebu Sinulog Grand Parade. The Basilica Minore del Santo Niño is the home of the original image of the Holy Infant Jesus that was given by Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan to Queen Juana and Rajah Humabon as gifts. This later made the couple convert into Christianity.
