Tomorrow, history will unfold as the country’s best bloggers will be honored at the 2007 Philippine Blog Awards.
There are twelve awards to be handed out for the main category tomorrow night. These are the Best Personal Blog, Technology, Travel, Entertainment, Home & Living, Socio-Polotical, News and Media, Business and Entrepreneur, Sports and Recreation, Fashion & Lifestyle, Photo Blog; and Podcast.

The Tobacco Monopoly Monument is a significant reminder to Ilocanos as well as to other Filipinos, that once in our history, the Ilocano people were forced to plant nothing, but tobacco. The monument was built as a sign of gratitude to the Crown of Spain for lifting the tobacco monopoly.
The organizers of the 2007 Aliwan Fiesta has finally released the list of contingents for this year’s edition. There are new festivals to look out for, and some old familiar ones who has been dominating this festival since it started. As usual, the list may still change. I also do not see on the list several festivals who have confirmed participation. Thos who are on the list are:
It seems like it was just yesterday. It was in 1997, when my passion for travelling actually started. It all begun in January of 1997, when I asked my mom to allow me to go to Iloilo to witness the Dinagyang Festival for the very first time. I bargained that I won’t be having a birthday party, just to fulfill my grandest wish at that time. Then mom, never had a doubt, allowed me to sail to Iloilo from my hometown Bacolod, together with my sister, and a common friend.
