The photo above shows the details from the VisionTheater in Cebu City. The details showing the beauty of its Neoclassical design. The theater started to operate in the 1920’s. The theater is actually located in one of the country’s most historic street: Colon. The long stretch of Colon is also known as the country’s oldest street.
During the war, many buildings and structures were brought down to ashes except for one edfice: The Vision Theater. Although this entertainment hall is no longer in use, it still stands today as a reminder to our glorious past.
I was so fascinated when I first saw Vision Theater. It was a jaw-dropping moment for me. This is just one of the lovely buildings I discovered in Cebu City, Philippines that needs to be preserved.
