The denizens of Metro Manila are now starting to feeling the scorching heat of the summer sun. Every now and then people are starting to complain about the unbearable heat, and the humid air.

And right at this time, the yuppies of Manila travel in droves to the white beach of Puerto Galera, Mindoro Oriental. Puerto Galera is often the preferred destination of Manila yuppies because of its proximity to the Philippine Capital. To reach Puerto Galera, one should just travel from Manila to Batangas City port for 2 hours. Take a pump boat going to Puerto Galera directly. Travel time is approximately 1.5 hours.

When in Puerto Galera, never miss the whole body massage offered by the local woman at the beachfront. Try the Puerto Galera kebab found all over the place. And when the sun goes down, ordre a pitcher of Mindoro Sling. A unique alcoholic drink concocted that tastes like your mom’s fruits juice.
