Blooming in Clark

Posted on March 17, 2007

I took this photo a few months back while I was in Clark Airbase, Pampanga Philippines. The photo shows the flower buds of a plant closely related to the Maguey family.

I can still recall that there are lots of Maguey plants in our grandfather’s backyard before. The plant usually dies after the flowering period. Its leaves are thick and has spikes in its sides.
