Blog Awards and Sleep Deprivation

I dunno how these two got interconnected.
Well anyways, first things first. Being on a night shift for three weeks already (and + 2 more!!!) is already taking its toll on me. Eating pattern has changed (could this be a good news?!). I now eat twice a day only. First meal when I wake up at 5PM, and the second at 1AM. Sleep deprivation problem is back. Before, I can afford to sleep up to 13 hours straight without eating. But now, 3 to 4 hours a day is obviously not enough. Add the burden of my office work, which sometime takes up tp double-digit hours to finish.
I guess it’s time for me to use my Medicard now. Sleeping disorder is covered in our company’s HMO.

The Philippine Blog Awards was really a blast! It was actually my first time to show up at a blog event. I was so delighted to see my idol bloggers there. I’m so glad I finally met Anton Diaz, Bikoy, Darwin, Gail and a whole lot more!

I didn’t win the award. period. But I am not not bitter. ahhaha A good friend of mine, Ivan Henares won the prize for our category. and since day 1, he has been my bet to win the award. I never made a mistake on that. I really have wanted to meet Ivan at the Awards, but unfortunately he wasn’t around to get his plaque. After the program Bikoy, Ayeen and I, then went to a post-awards party thrown out by the Philippine Daily Inquirer (tama, sila nga ba?) there we met Anton Diaz again, and the guys behind the Podcast Noypi.com.

Oh well, unfortunately, I have to leave them all by 10:30PM because I still have an office work at 11PM.
