Just a few words…

First of all, my sincerest apologies, for not being able to to update this blog recently. I really wanted to upload my photos from my Laguna Visita Iglesia but I was so consumed with my office work. Hopefully I can get back to circulation again tomorrow.
And secondly, I know a lot of people, forum members, mailing list subscribers visit my blog from time to time for schedules and festival updates. I know these because I do lurk in several forums and I can see some people simply copy what is written in blog and paste in in various forums.
I won’t mind anybody copying my blogposts. Who I am anyway to complain. I am just an nobody. a struggling blogger. Screaming for some attention, and maybe, for some traffic.
What really enrages me is that these people who copy my write-ups and images dont even bother to give credit to the source. A simple link to http://www.byahilo.com is enough for me already. I am sure that you are an educated person. you know how to operate a computer. you know how to browse the Internet. I just hope that you become aware of what we call the Intellectual Property Rights, and learn to respect it.
I spend money to travel to various places, and get burned under the heat of the sun to take photosgraphs an create writeups. I spend personal money for my travels. I dont have a sponsor most of the time.
Then, here you are, copy pasting my write ups.

Well what do you expect? With the Internet, anything is possible.

bad trip talaga mga nangongopya. simpleng attribution okay na naman eh. yaan mo, try to look at the brighter side of it. at the least, them people find your articles interesting enough to share with others. but then again… hehe.

I also hate when people don’t consider the efforts you put into your work. Kahit konting credits lang or mention will do na rin. Pero wala? Mahiya naman sila.
