Magdalena Church
Posted on April 21, 2007
The sevent, and the last church I visited last Holy Wednesday is the church of Magdalena, Laguna. The churhc was built during the Spanish period using bricks and pre-cut stones. But this church is not only famous for its architectural design. A secret that is just lying nat the corner of this church.
Stories have have been told that at one point in history Filipino hero Emilio Jacinto got wouldwounded in a river near the town and sought refuge in the church. Blood spilled on the floor of the church. And up until now, tourists would flock to this church get seethat blood that flowed from veins of a hero, who took refuge in the church of Magdalena.
