Old Peñafrancia Church

Old Peñafrancia Church, originally uploaded by Enrico_Dee.

This church is the original home of the image of Our Lady of Peñafrancia. This was used to be Her home.

Because of the ever increasing number of devotees, church autorities decided tobuild a new and larger church that could accomodate the largenumber of devotees.

This church, built in the Renaissance form of design has an impressive ceiling artwork.
