He is of the the finest public servant the Bicol has ever produced. Raul Roco was a former senator and was also appointed as the Secretary of theDepartment of Education during the term of Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.

He was the founder of the Aksyon Demokratiko party which he later used as is vehicle in his presidential bid in 1998 and 2004. He has a strong following among the youth sector, mainly bacuse of his campaign for good governance. In August of 2005, he died of cardiac arrest due to his prostate cancer. He wad burined in Naga City, Camarines Sur.

    this guy came to the school once and talked about how he would help education. and he wasnt DepEd secretary at that time yet…
