Another aborted trip

Tsk tsk, this is a bad sign. Imagine this: Two consecutive trips aborted, in a span of a little less than two weeks. But no, I won’t take this as a bad omen.
I was supposed to be in Corregidor, Bataan last May 6-7, but have to beg off due to some very important/urgent matters that I need to attend to. Yesterday, I was supposed to to go the Pahiyas Festival in Lucban, Quezon. But as usual, last minute blah blahs forced me to abort plans. this is also the second year of my aborted Pahiyas trip. My oh my, when will I finally see those kiping hanging from the houses in Lucban.
Anyway, despite all these setbacks, I’m still hoping, (and crossing my fingers!) that my road trip tomorrow will finally push through. The roadtrip will be quite a challenge for me, because of very tight schedule. hopefully, I can get nice photos tomorrow.
I’m actually excited already about my trip tomorrow. The road trip was originally planned months ago, even before the Holy Week. But due to conflict in work schedule I just simply don’t have the luxury of time to travel especially on bus.
So where am I exactly going tomorrow? Early morning tomorrow, my colleagues and I will be exploring the architectural wonders of Laguna and Rizal. Specifically, we’ll be going to the Nagcarlan Underground Cemetery and Church, as well as the churches of Pakil, and Paete in Laguna. We’ll also be checking out the intricately deisgned church of Morong as well as the pilgrim church of Antipolo in the province of Rizal.
So expect new sets of photos soon! Oh, by the way, did I mention that I’m flying again next month? 
Awww Eric, that’s too bad. I’m sorry for the cancelled trips. I hope tomorrow’s plan would push through. Laguna and Rizal = interesting.

Yay! i love to go to pahiyas too since somebody told me it’s a blast. maybe we can finally go together on that one…. a bloggers’ pahiyas road trip maybe?
I’m to Cebu next week (first time in 20 years!). Yay!
