Updates for the week
Posted on June 3, 2007
Just a few updates on what’s happening. I had a dinner last Friday with friends at Amici di Don Bosco. Finally, my wish to dine in this trattoria’s granted! Their pizza and pasta are hevenly! Nothing can beat their culinary creations. Oh, and their gelato? It’s the best. Watch out for my Amici di Don Bosco post soon!
From Amici di Don Bosco, I went home late, but have to wake up very early Saturday morning (read: 7AM). By 7:30, I found myself scrambling through the fish and the vegetables sold at the Salcedo Saturday Market. It really was a unique shopping experience fot me. I have long been wanting to go here but, ehem, the work schedule… you know what I mean.
Today, after nine years, I will be going back to the hallowed grounds of the Philippine’s premiere educational institution: The University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City. The purpose: lunch at the Chocolate Kiss Cafe at the Bahay ng Alumni with some friends.
Tomorrow, I’ll be at the Asian Institute of Management (AIM) Conference Center, after I was invited by the PR Team of Philippine Travel Operators Association (PHILTOA) for a press conference. I might have another round of food trip after the presscon.
Tuesday’s a free day, but who knows, something good might pop up and worth blogging?
