Hope of the Future, the exhibit
Posted on July 6, 2007
I was at the opening day/cocktails of the Victory Christian Fellowship Fund-Raising Exhibit last night at the Ayala Museum, Makati City. The art show is entitled “Hope of the Future.” I was actually there because I know one of the featured artists. He’s Lloyd Tronco, a kababayan from Bacolod City. It has been months since I last met Sir Lloyd. But we often communicate through the forum Skyscrapercity. Anyways, the artworks were all really impressive. I love Sir Lloyd’s masterpices done on acrylic. As usual we had a chit chat, catching up on what’s the latest news back in my home province Negros Occidental and in my dear city. I actually went to the venue with a fellow Ilonggo (who’s also a Skyscrapercity forum member), Merl. There were just a lot of people (and foods!) buzzing around.
If you wish to catch a glimpse of these lovely artworks, it is currently on display at the 2nd floor of the Ayala Museum until July 19th. Entrance is FREE OF CHARGE. Use the entrance beside the Museum Shop. Photos below courtesy of Merl.

These are Sir Lloyd’s masterpieces!
