Manila Post Office
Posted on July 14, 2007
When the buzzword e-mail has not yet reached the mainstream society, snail mail, or the regularpost office mail was still the IN thing. And when we say post office, I guess nothing will beat when it comes to beauty and grandeur the Manila Post Office.
The post office, located along Lawton in Manila was built in 1926 by Juan de Guzman Arellano. The building which stands at the Liwasang Bonifacio space is a classic example of the Neo-Classical architecture. It uses columns very typical for this kind of design.
