Rain rain go away!

For the last two weeks, rain has has been pounding so hard in Metro Manila. What’s worse, you don’t know when this downpour will occur. It’s like, you have a bright sunshiny moment then after five minutes there comes the splash. And it’s not just rain. It’s R-A-I-N!!! A heavy downpour in fact. It’s so hard that your disposable made-in-China 50peso-umbrella seems worthless.

And because of this unforgiving weather pattern, I decided not to wander around the Metro Manila for now. Hay, when will this rainfall ever cease to fall. I know this is good news to all the drought stricken provinces and to all the farmers. Plase don’t sermon me. Rain is okay, but in an unforgiving volume of downpour? No way…

And while the showers still don’t have plans of stopping anytime soon, my blog posting might be will be limited to once or twice weekly starting next week. this is because our darn, friggin company will be locking our Internet access. This also means late replies to inquiries. My sincerest apologies to everyone. I’ll still check by next week if my Byahilo mails will be POP3′d here. If not, then I’ll have to redirect all inquiries to my free lousy e-mail address.

Where to Stay in Bacolod: List of Bacolod Hotels for Masskara 2011

Getting a decent place to stay during a festival is not easy. I have also experienced this several times before when I went to the Dinagyang Festival. And for those who have been emailing me about the accomodations in Bacolod City for the upcoming Masskara Festival 2011, Here’s a list I have compiled from the Bacolod City website. While the Silver Masskara Foundation is still finalizing the official schedule of activities of Masskara, which is going to be on October 1-19, 2011 browse through the list from the 5-star hotels down to the pension houses and resorts. Go and make early reservations now as rooms in Bacolod is always fully booked during the fiesta season.
