For the Nth time, I’m back to my dear hometown. The city of Bacolod. I attended the funeral service for my uncle early this morning, and I am just taking a good rest the whole afternoon.
I have always been flying via Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific, but admittedly, yesterday’s flight was the worst. It took me a lot of courage to to act as if nothing’s wrong with me during the flight. Flying the skies on a stormy weather is no big joke. The feeling was just awful. It’s like I was a carrot placed in a blender. It was a really really bumpy trip. I even thought that I might land not in Bacolod airport, but in Sagada. I was just holding at the armrest for the entire 1-hour flight Ahehe Thank God I survived that freaky ordeal.
I just hope and pray that the weather improives by Tuesday, when I return to Manila, just in time for the Mrs. Fields Press Launch.
I woke up today to a call from Cebu Pacific Airlines informing me that my flight tomorrow nght at 6PM was canclled. Jesus Christ! How can they afford to cancel a flight I badly needed?
So now I am forced to rebook my flight, good thing it’s FOC. I’ll be leaving at 4PM tomorrow via Cebu Pacific tomorrow. I just home that my return flight will not be reschuled anymore.
And yet another press launch! I just got another e-mail inviting meto join the Launch of this great project. The way I understand it, it would work somewhat similiar to the Wikipedia, but Pinoy version. I’m looking forward to attend this event. ahehe
Bye all!
Oh Lord, this is it.
In approximately 45 minutes time, our effin company Interneet acess will be limited only to work-related websites. This means no more forums, no bloghopping, no Adsense checking and no browsing. Posting here will be limited to approximately twice weekly.
Although the Internet lockdown will now be in place, this doesn’t mean that travelling will also be clipped. Expect more Manila invasions soon!
And if plans push through, I will be flying to Bacolod City this coming Friday due to an urgent (and very important) appointment. Actually, my uncle passed away today. you see, I have this extra sensitive senses no many people have developed.
Last Wednesday I was invited to attend a dinner by Microtel Inn Suites. Microtel is a chain of mid-range hotels with branches in key locations like Baguio and Boracay. Too bad I just could join other blogger invitees because of two things:
That frigging office work>ul
The heavy downpour caused by typhoon Chedeng
Anyway, I have already fixed my schedule for the next blogger meet!
August 21 – Mrs. Fields Second Coming @ Manila Pavillion. Yeeeha! Who doesn’t love cookies and brownies anyway?
August 23 – Another round of Taste Asia Blogger Meet! One good event deserves another. Bwahah expect tons of food spread all over the place. Sana may chocolate fondue ulit!
