Byahilo goes to the Shroud Exhibit!
Posted on September 17, 2007
This Wednesday, I will be going to the Mall of Asia to join the special bloggers tour of the Shroud of Turin exhibit.
The Shroud of Turin is a piece of linen that is said to have been used to wrap the body of Jesus after he was brought down from the cross.
The Philippine Exhibition of the Mystery of the Shroud of Turin is a 45-minute lights and sound show featuring the most accurate existing replica of the Shroud of Turin, and over 80 artifacts and exhibit items from the collection of Mr. Barrie Schwortz, official documenting photographer of the Shroud of Turin Research project in 1978. The exhibit allows visitors to discover the mystery and science behind the Shroud of Turin.
The Exhibit runs until December 8, 2007. Regular admission rate is PHP250.00. PHP230 for Grade School students with valid school ID, and PHP200 for Senior Citizens with valid senior citizen ID.
After the exhibit, we will then be treated to a new line of Max’s Restaurants merienda. Their new fare includes pancit luglog, arroz caldo, chicken burger, and tofu con lechon.
