Unveiling the Shroud of Turin

Turin is a large industrial city as well as a business and cultural metropolis that lies in the Piedmont Region of North Italy. Once the capital of Italy, Turin (or Torino in Italian), is the birthplace of solid chocolate and chocolate factories, and is home to Italy’s famous Juventus Football Club, Fiat automobiles, the 2006 Winter Olympics.

What a week!

Last week another round of busy week for me. Firstly, I was able to join the Shroud of Turin Special Bloggers tour. I’m just so blessed that I’m one of the less than 10 bloggers who got the invite. More about this soon.

After the Shroud of Turin tour, we were then shuttled to Max’s at the Blue wave to sample the restaurant’s new line of merienda. It was a heart merienda indeed. A warm bowl of arroz caldo on a rainy afternoon is just perfect. It was the best!

Yesterday, I also went to the Press Preview of the Philippine School of Interior Design’s (PSID) annual exhibit. This yeartheme is Forty Filipino Fabulous. I was so amazaed at all the furniture pieces on display. The exhibit will open to the public this week, FREE OF CHARGE at the paseo Center.

More on these press events, and loads of photos, soon!
