Chong Hock Tong Temple

This is a very very long overdue post.

A few weeks back, my friend Gian and I once again played the role of Lara Croft as the Pinoy Tomb Raiders at the Manila Chinese Cemetery. Nah there were no monsters nor enemies that we need to fight. We went there (as usual!) to check out the varied types of architectural forms that can be found there. Our first stop is the Chong Hock Tong temple.

You’ll never gt lost in finding the temple. It’s actually located near the South Gate entrance. Just beside the crematorium.

BYAHILO goes to the Kahilwayan Festival!

Early morning of November 17, I took a ferry from Bacolod City to Iloilo to catch the 109th celebration of the Cry of Santa Barbara and the Kahilwayan Festival in the town of Santa Barbara in the province of Iloilo. Santa Barbara is approximately 15 kilometers away from the capital, Iloilo City.
