Ligligan Parul 2007

The City if San Fernando in the province of Pampanga will once again shine in its brightest as it holds the annual Ligligan Parul or the Giant Lantern Festival. The highlights of the event will be held at the SM San Fernando Ampitheater at around 7PM. Be there early as large crowds are expected to witness this event.

San Fernando, Pampanga is known for making attractive and very colorful Christmas lanterns known in Filipino as Parol. Because of this, the Kapampangan Capital City has been known as the Christmas Capital of the Philippines.

Baguio City Panagbenga Festival 2008 Launched!

The local government of Baguio city has recently lauched the city’s main tourism event: the annual Panagbenga Festival or the Baguio City Flower Festival. The Festival is sometimes compared to the Parade of Roses held every New Year in Pasadena, Calilfornia.
