Baguio City Panagbenga Festival 2008 Launched!
Posted on December 6, 2007
The local government of Baguio city has recently lauched the city’s main tourism event: the annual Panagbenga Festival or the Baguio City Flower Festival. The Festival is sometimes compared to the Parade of Roses held every New Year in Pasadena, Calilfornia.
The Panagbenga Festival is highlighted by streetdancing competition drum and bugle parade and of course the float competition. Locals adorned with colorful blooms flock the streets to the beating of the drums, lyre, and gongs.
