The Manila Cathedral

One of the landmark structures inside the Intramuros complex in Manila, Philippines is the Manila Cathedral. The church’s official name is Basilica Minore del Immaculada Concepcion or the Minor Basilica or the Immaculate Conception. Manila Cathedral celebrates the feast day of its patroness every December 8th. The Manila Cathedral is also known as the Seat of the Archdiocese of Manila.
According to Wikipedia, the Archdiocese of Manila is considered as one of the richest archdiocese in the world, and the richest in the Philippines. The See of Manila has considerable number of real estate holdings in Metro Manila. The Archidiocese of Manila, headed by Gaudencio Cardinal Rosales, also has shares in the country’s second largest bank, the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI). They also have business interest in San Miguel Corporation. The archdiocese also owns schools, hostels, charitable institutions and a travel agency.

ayayay, just as I have suspected. Does this mean we need to tax the church already. They’re becoming too powerful already.
