Get ready as the Southeast Asia’s oldest sailing competition will once again take the high seas. Witness Iloilo City’s Paraw Regatta Festival unfolds on February 17, 2008 in Villa Beach. See the colorful wind-driven sailboats sail from Iloilo City to Jordan, Guimaras and back.
Paraw Regatta is named as the 3rd Best Tourism Event for 2007. This accolade was given by the Association of tourism Officers of the Philippines during their annual conference held this year in Naga City, Camarines Sur.
Aside from the traditional sailboat racing, there are other activities lined up during the day. There are mini paraw copetition, beach volleyball and Samba dance competition.
