Mesmerizing Manila Post Office

Undeniably the Manila Post Office building in Liwasang Bonifacio (now known as Plaza Lawton) is one of the Philippine’s most beautiful. Built in 1926 by Juan Marcos de Guzman Arellano, The Manila Post Office is a fine example of Neo Classical Architecture.
The Manila Post Office in Plaza Lawton is the main postal center of the Philippines. All mails, parcels and packages sent to and from other countries are first delivered to here before being delivered to the recipient. Many domestic mails are also dropped in Manila Post Office before it reaches the local post office for delivery.
Manila Post Office’s facade is far more attractive and lovely compared to its interior. The massiveness that you get to feel seeing the facade is an entirely different affair when you get inside. Its interior looks small and cramped.
actually the manila post office is not neo-classical architecture nor roman architecture because it is from Greek’s!!it has overall Corinthian motif and has 14 ionic columns!!!!

those are not ionic orders because they are not slender .. an ionic greek column is not as tall as that and it is slender… it is a colossal order … and the post office is neoclassical ..

may mga magnanakaw sa main post office ng manila paki imbestiga naman. binubuksan nila ung mga padala at kinukuha.. gus2 k na nga dumulog sa imbestigador o kaya xxx dahil sobra na ginagawa nila.
