Somebody sent me this schedule via email. Looking at the schedule below, it seems that that the 2008 Panagbenga Baguio Flower Festival is timed with the long weekend on February. February 25th is the EDSA People Power Day! Now, make your travel plans aearly ans see you at the City of Pines!

FEBRUARY 1 – GRAND OPENING> DRUM AND lYRE AND Street Dancing, Opening and Blessing of Market Encounter.
FEBRUARY 22-24 – Abanao Nights= nightlife
FEBRUARY 23- GRAND OPENING PARADE> Parade composed of schools…
FEBRUARY 24- PARADE OF FLOATS AND BANDS> most awaited time which you can see a thousand flowers bloom and the bands on thier exhibitions…
FEBRUARY 24- MARCH 2- SESSION ROAD IN BLOOM> be at our very own Session Road and have the arts of the city be urs…
MARCH 2- CLOSING CEREMONIES WITH PLAYGROUND DEMONSTRATIONS AND EXHIBITIONS

    Seems like Feb is a great time to head to Baguio! Too bad I have exams and would have to fly back to Singapore.

    Why is it too early for the Street dancing competition..

    The time seems too short for our group.

    Thanks for posting early sked of Panagbenga Festival coz our group is planning to attend this year’s festival together with our schoolmates from Villamor High School who will come all the way from abroad to attend our February 16 reunion and go up to Baguio and experience the excitement there.
