New Cebu Pacific Airline’s Summer promo fare!

Cebu Pacific now flies to Brunei! T Philippines’ number one low cost carrier is also offering promo fares for selected routes for as low as PHP499!

One of Asia’s fastest growing airlines, Cebu Pacific (CEB) announces that it will begin flying to the State of Brunei Darussalam starting August 21, 2010. With this official announcement comes an P899 ‘Go Lite’ seat sale to promote the new route, with the sale period from June 2-4, 2010, for travel August 21 to November 30, 2010.

CEB is slated to operate a twice weekly service from Manila to the Nation of Brunei using an Airbus aircraft. It leaves Manila at 11:50pm, and the return flight departs Brunei at 2:25am.

Bandar Seri Begawan, the center of Brunei’s commerce, finance and government, is home to beautiful mosques, the Kampong Ayer water village, and the Istana Nurul Iman, which is the Sultan’s lavish home and the largest residential palace in the world.

The seat sale fare of P899 is 68% less than the lowest year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare of P2,899, which will be offered after the seat sale period.

Moreover, flights from Manila to Busuanga, Dumaguete, Laoag and Naga are up for grabs for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P499. Those going from Manila and Cebu to Hong Kong, and Manila to Macau and vice versa can also avail of P1,499 seats. These are for travel from July 1 to August 31, 2010.

Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“We hope this will give more opportunities to travel to and from Brunei, for visiting family and friends over the weekend or for business travel. With our trademark low fares, convenient thrice weekly schedule and constant seat sales, we expect there will be a big demand for CEB flights to Brunei,” said CEB VP for marketing and distribution Candice Iyog.

“Naming our 15th international destination is one more step towards our expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. We are expecting delivery of 22 more brand-new Airbus A320 until 2014, which will be used to bring our low fares to more markets,” she added.

For bookings and inquiries, passengers can call (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888, visit www.cebupacificair.com and funtours.cebupacificair.com or travel agents near them. The latest updates on seat sales are available at cebupacificair on Twitter and Cebu Pacific Air Facebook Fan Page.

Having flown 8.8 million passengers in 2009, CEB’s ranks went up from 19 to 17 in the world’s top low-cost carriers, based on 2009 passenger numbers. The third largest low-cost carrier in Asia, operates the youngest aircraft fleet in the country, and garnered a 91.8% on-time performance in the first quarter of 2010.

Byahilo goes to the Trinoma Blogger Food Tour

It was an afternoon fiesta filled with fun and food. Yesterday, 150 bloggers were invited to join a Food Tour organized by the Philippines’ newest shopping mall, Trinoma and Yehey!

Before the tour started, we all gathered at the Trinoma Cinema Lobby for some meet and greet. Familiar faces were there. And some more new faces showed up to join the food tour. The bloggers were then divided into five color groups. Just before we actually started to food tour, we were handed out a loot bag which contains chocolates from Hershey’s, a neatly wrapped sketch pad from Ayala, an issue of Yummy Magazine and a whole lot more.
